Science
Students will study scientific methods. They will learn good evidence is characterized by accurate observations and measurements made during an investigation. They will learn to communicate results of credible evidence. Students will demonstrate an understanding of energy transfer by designing, building and testing a device, which transfers one form of energy to another in a Motion and Design unit. Students will demonstrate an understanding of interdependence in nature by creating and subsequently upsetting a planned ecosystem’s stability and describing the effects in an ecology unit.
